Explanation
|
Principal (मूलधन):-
|
The wealth which is given to any one as loan is
called Principal.
|
Time (समय):-
|
The days for which a loan is given is called
Time.
|
Rate (दर):-
|
The calculation on which interest is charged is
called Rate.
|
Interest (ब्याज):-
|
When a person takes loan by another person or
by bank, then to use that money the extra money is charged, that money is
called Interest.
|
Simple Interest (साधारण ब्याज):-
|
The interest which is charged
on principal for fixed time is called Simple interest.
|
Amount (मिस्र्धन):-
|
The sum of money after charging
the interest is called Amount.
|
P = principal(मूलधन)
t = time(समय)
I = simple interest (ब्याज)
r = rate (दर)
A = amount(मिस्र्धन)
Type
and Simple Interest Short trick 1:-

If simple
interest of any wealth is a/b part of wealth and the number of yearly
interest is equal to the rate, then yearly rate or number of year -
= Ö(a/b) x 10
|
Important questions (asked in previous year Exam)
|
|
Q1
|
The
simple interest on a certain sum of money for 2 1/2 years at 12% per
annum is Rs. 40 less than the simple interest on the same sum for 3 1/2 years
at 10% per annum. Find the sum.
|
Sol
|
Let
the sum be Rs. x. Then, (x 10 x ) 100x2- (x 12 x 5/100 x 2) = 40
7 x /20
- 3x/10 = 40
x
= (40 x 20) = 800.
Hence,
the sum is Rs. 800
|
Q2
|
A
sum was put at simple interest at a certain rate for 3 years. Had it been put
at 2% higher rate, it would have fetched Rs. 360 more. Find the sum.
कुश रुपे 3 साल के लिए किसी दर पर सिम्पल इंटरेस्ट के लिए रखे। यदि 2% दर को बड़ा दे तो 360/- ज्यादा देना पड़ते है। मूलधन ज्ञात करो।
|
Sol
|
Let
sum = P and original rate = R.
Then,
[PxR+2
x3/100] - [PxRx3)/100]
=360
3PR
+ 6P — 3PR = 36000
6P
= 36000 P = 6000.
Hence,
sum = Rs. 6000.

If any wealth on simple interest in
t years, become n times, then
Rate (r) = [{(n-1) x 100} / t
] %
|
2
|
If any wealth on simple interest at
r% rate become n times, then-
time (t) = {(n-1) x 100} / t
years
|
Example:- If any wealth on simple interest in 20 years , become 4 times , then what will be the ratio of interest?
Type

|
If any wealth, in definite time at r1% interest
become n1 times and at r2% it become n2 times then-
r2 = {(n2 - 1) / (n1 - 1)} x r1%
|
2
|
If any wealth on definite simple interest rate, in
t1 time become n1 times and in t2 time become n2 times, then-
t2 = {(n2 - 1) / (n1 - 1)} x t1 years
|
Example:-If any wealth, in definite time at 10% interest become 3x1/2 times, then in how much yearly rate of interest it will become 2x1/2 times?

A principal ‘P' on
fixed simple interest, in t time become amount A1, if the rate of interest
become r% more, then new amount-
A2 = A1 + {(P x r x t)
/ 100}
|
Type

|
If on any wealth time
is sequentially: t1 , t2 and t3 , and rate of simple interest is sequentially
r1 , r2 and r3 ., then-
|
|
1
|
Simple interest (I) = P x {(r1 t1 +
r2 t2 + r3 t3 +...........) / (I x 100)}
|
2
|
Principal (P) = [(I x 100) /
(r1 t1 + r2 t2 + r3 t3 +.............)]
|
3
|
Amount (A) = P x [1 + {(r1 t1 + r2
t2 + r3 t3 +.............) / 100}]
|
Example:- On 5000 rs for first 2 years rate of interest is 5%, for next 3 years 6% and for next years 8%, then what will be total interest after 9 years ?
Type
and Simple Interest Short trick 6: -

|
If any wealth on rate
of simple interest after t1 years become A1 and after t2 years become A2,
then-
P = [A1 - {t1 /
(t2 - t1)} x (A2 - A1)]
|
Example:-If any wealth on rate of simple interest after 2 years become 1200 rs and after 5 years become 1500 rs, then find principal?
Type
and Simple Interest Short trick 7: -

|
If difference of simple
interest is X rs , then
|
|
1
|
P = [(X x 100) / {t x (difference of r1
and r2)}] rs
|
2
|
P = [(X x 100) / {r x (difference of t1
and t2)}] rs
|
Example:- Any wealth is taken at a special rate for 4 years. If the rate of interest will 2% more then simple interest is 120 rs more , find principal ?
Type
and Simple Interest Short trick 8: -
|
|
If after t years, the given amount X rs
has to be paid in equal installment at the rate of r%, then every installment
will be
|
|
1
|
Y = (X x 100) / [(100 x t) +
{(t-1)+(t-2) +................(t-t)} x r]
|
Example:- After 5 years the given 2,200 rs , at the rate of 5% per annual has to be paid then what will be the each installment?
Type and Simple Interest Short trick 9:-
r1 r2
> r <
(different between r2 & r) : (different between r1 & r)
Example:- A person borrow some part of 7000 rs at the rate of 6% per annul and the remaining part at the rate of 4% per annul. If after 5 years the total interest become 1600 rs, so how much amount did he borrow at the rate of 6% of interest?
Type
and Simple Interest Short trick 10: -

|
In principal percent = 100%
|
2
|
In simple interest percent = (r x t)%
|
3
|
In Amount percent = 100% + (r x t)
|
Example:- In how much time any amount at the rate of 5% per annul will become 40% more then it?
Type and Simple Interest Short trick 11:-
Example:- In 10 years the simple interest of any amount will become 1200 rs. If that amount become triple in 5 years, then how much interest will be in 10 years?
